SPRING HILL: At the Marshall Tournament, the Spring Hill Lady Panthers rolled to a 21-1 win over New Boston and edged Jefferson, 8-7.
Makayla Navarro homered, singled and drove in two runs for Spring Hill against Jefferson. Aubreigh Whiddon and Haley Blake both had a double, single and two RBI. Kyndall Witt doubled and drove in three runs. Emma Copeland singled and plated two runs, and Sophie Robinett and Josie Gray added RBI.
Alexis Blackshire highlighted the offensive attack with a grand slam, and Witt struck out one, walked one and gave up one earned run in three innings pitched.
In the win over Atlanta, Witt doubled twice, singled and drove in two runs and Peyton Dees singled three times for the Lady Panthers. Blackshire tripled, Gray doubled and drove in two runs and Copeland added an RBI. Abbye McFaul struck out one and walked one in 3.1 innings, and Witt fanned one with no walks in 2/3 of an inning.
PINE TREE: At the Forney Tournament, the Pine Tree Lady Pirates dropped an 8-2 decision to South Grand Prairie and defeated Allen, 4-2.
Rhi Black singled twice, Mo Rougely doubled and Rougely and Jasmine Byrd drove in runs for the Lady Pirates against South Grand Prairie. Emma Rivera struck out one and walked four in two innings pitched, and Taylor Burkhart fanned one and walked two in an inning of action.
Against Allen, Burkhart struck out eight, walked two and did not allow an earned run in five innings. Zamoria Smith doubled, singled and drove in a run, and Rivera and E.K. Holder added an RBI apiece.
HALLSVILLE: At the Forney Tournament, Ella Baird tripled, singled and drove in two runs and Ava Martin and Lindsey Dubberly had two hits apiece for the Ladycats as Hallsville earned a 6-2 win over John Paul II.
Martin, Maddie McKinney and Libby Ford all drove in runs for the Ladycats. Dubberly struck out six and walked a couple while allowing one earned run in six innings pitched.
GILMER: At the Sulphur Springs Tournament, the Gilmer Lady Buckeyes and Canton Eaglettes battled to a 3-3 tie.
Brie Jones had the lone hit and Jayna Rucker drove in a run for Gilmer. Alexis Kemp struck out 10 with no walks and one earned run allowed in six innings.
HENDERSON: At the College Station Tournament, the Henderson Lady Lions fell 2-1 to Bridgeland and 3-0 to Lago Vista on Thursday.
Addy Davis banged out three hits and scored once against Bridgeland. KK Brooks added a double, and Jacie Boothe handled the pitching chores — striking out seven and walking five in seven innings.
Chloe Ellis struck out nine and walked three in six innings against Lago Vista. Niya Vanzandt led the offense with a double.
PITTSBURG: At the Sabine Tournament, the Pittsburg Lady Pirates edged Quitman, 8-6 and fell 7-1 to Harmony.
Emie Castaneda tripled, singled and drove in two runs for Pittsburg. Tatum Reynolds added a double and two RBI, and Audrina Landin, MC Lawton and Kenly Willis all drove in runs. Landin struck out four and issued no walks in four innings in the circle.
Against Harmony, Castaneda doubled and drove in a run and Willis singled and scored to provide all of the offense. Reynolds struck out two and walked seven in 3.2 innings pitched.
TATUM: Camryn Milam blasted two home runs to go along with a double, driving in six runs and scoring three times as the Tatum Lady Eagles rolled to an 18-8 win over Chapel Hill at the Tatum Tournament.
Jazmyne Taylor doubled, singled and drove in a run for the Lady Eagles. Layla Icenhower doubled and singled. Brailey Smith singled and drove in three runs. Noa Cart added a double and an RBI. Audrey Parsons drove in a couple of runs, and Jocelyn Infante chipped in with an RBI.
Parsons struck out four and walked six in three innings pitched.
NEW DIANA: At the Marshall Tournament, New Diana earned a 22-2 win over Harleton and a 4-0 win over New Boston.
Against Harleton, Addi Valle banged out four hits — including a home run, a triple and two doubles — and drove in six runs. Chloe Green doubled once and singled three times, driving in a run. Ava Smith had three singles and an RBI. Taryn Reece doubled twice, singled and drove in a run. Avery Howard tripled, doubled and drove in a couple. Chloe Bonnette added two hits and two RGBI. Kiley Stanley drove in a run. Faith Crabtree doubled and plated a run. Sawyer Stapleton doubled, and Sadie Starr had a triple and two RBI. Green struck out five and walked one in three innings.
Stanley struck out 10 with four walks and one hit allowed in five innings against New Boston. Green doubled once and singled twice. Howard doubled, singled and drove in two runs. Valle had a pair of triples and two RBI, and Reece doubled.
GLADEWATER: Bailey Childress doubled, singled and drove in three runs, and Karlee Moses added two singles and scored twice for Gladewater in an 8-8 tie with Ore City.
Tatiana Gunder also drove in a run for the Lady Bears. Alayah Gordon struck out three and walked three in four innings pitched.
HARMONY: At the Sabine Tournament, Maecy Toland tossed a two-hitter with six strikeouts and two walks as Harmony notched a 7-1 win over Pittsburg.
Kara Schoon led the Harmony offense with two singles, a double and an RBI. Emma Blackstone doubled and drove in two runs, and Macey Hogue, Allie Mauk and Avery Hogue all drove in runs.
JEFFERSON: At the Marshall Tournament, Chloe Wood homered, tripled, singled twice and drove in three runs to lead Jefferson to a 15-2 win over Harleton.
Karly Long chipped in with three hits and two RBI. Maddie Cooner doubled twice, singled and added an RBI. Ashlynn Cooner and Amarriunna Amie had two hits and an RBI apiece, and Madison Clark and Rayleigh Gulk both drove in runs.
Clark struck out eight and walked one in five innings pitched.
HUGHES SPRINGS: At the Sulphur Springs Tournament, Addysyn Billings went four innings in the circle, striking out seven, walking one and giving up one earned run as Hughes Springs notched a 5-1 win over Grand Saline.
Claira Robinson singled twice and scored twice for Hughes Springs. A.J. Perry doubled. Shae’Leigh Johnson singled and drove in two runs, and Annie Stonesifer singled and drove in one for the Lady Mustangs.
ORE CITY: At the Tatum Tournament, the Ore City Rebels tied Gladewater, 8-8, and fell 15-6 to Central.
Against Gladewater, Brooke Byrd and Addisyn Perez had two hits apiece, Kayla Peckham tripled and Jordan Johnson doubled. Johnson drove in three runs, Byrd and Mayze Hawkins two apiece and Perez one. Perez struck out eight and walked six in four innings.
Byrd doubled and drove in three runs to pace Ore City against Central. Johnson doubled, and Keri Rodgers and Paola Garcia drove in runs. Johnson struck out six and walked three while allowing no earned runs in four innings pitched.
OVERTON: At the Athens Tournament, the Overton Lady Mustangs fell 5-3 to Malakoff and 4-3 to Eustace on Thursday.
Against Malakoff, Bryleigh Nelson doubled and singled, Kasha Williams tripled and Chelsea Jordan doubled for Overton with Halle Mayfield and Williams driving in runs. Kelsey Vaught struck out five with no walks.
Against Eustace, Williams tripled and Jordan and Sarah Emery both doubled for Overton, with Emery driving in two runs and Jordan adding an RBI. Vaught fanned eight with no walks in five innings.
HARLETON: At the Marshall Tournament, the Harleton Lady Wildcats fell 22-2 to New Diana and 15-2 to Jefferson.
Landree Lowry and Chloe Johnson both doubled for Harleton, and Lowry drove in two runs against New Diana. Mallory Gonzalez struck out two and walked one in two innings pitched.
Against Jefferson, Maddi King homered and drove in two runs and Chloe Johnson doubled for Harleton to provide all of the offense. Lowry struck out one and walked two in four innings pitched.
TROUP: At the Kemp Tournament, the Lady Tigers defeated Kemp (10-1) and Como-Pickton (4-0 and 6-3)
Against Kemp, Kiyah Arterberry got the pitching win and also homered for Troup, driving in two runs.
Liliana Priest homered, Ava Hays doubled and Arterberry earned the pitching win against Como-Pickton in the 4-0 win. Shiloh Sluder added two hits.
In the 6-3 win over Como-Pickton, Taylor Gillispie struck out 10 and hit a solo home run for Troup. Ava Hays had two hits.
JACKSONVILLE: Hannah Gonzales went four innings in the circle for the Maidens, striking out eight and walking one, and Laney Harwell drove in two runs to lead the offensive attack as Jacksonville earned a 7-0 win over latexo.
Jaylee Dominey fanned one and walked on in an inning of work. Gretchen Ault and Gonzales both singled and doubled, with Gonzales driving in a run. Mahala Soteio and Ryan Ramirez also chipped in with RBI for the Maidens.
RUSK: Riley Collins doubled, singled and drove in four runs, and the Rusk Lady Eagles edged Union Grove, 12-10.
Addison McCown added two singles and an RBI for Rusk. Mattie Oliver singled twice. Braleigh Goff tripled, singled and drove in two runs. Libbi Dyess added a double, and Melanie Duke tripled and drove in one. Collins struck out one and walked four in four innings.
VAN: The Van Lady Vandals dropped a 7-2 decision to Aledo on Thursday.
Jailey Potter singled twice and Lanna Tschirhart drove in two runs for Van. Potter struck out six with two walks in five innings.
TEXAS HIGH: At the Duncanville Tournament, Eva Treadway struck out six and allowed one earned run in seven innings as Texas High earned a 3-2 win over Duncanville.
Preslie Clopp blasted a two-run, walk off home run in the bottom of the seventh for the Lady Tigers. She also doubled, and Palin Nichols added an RBI double.
